Description

This position is responsible for online editing of proposals prior to submission to the various soliciting e-agencies.  He/she will assist the Office of Sponsored Programs in its efforts to enhance the quality of electronic proposals submitted to the soliciting agencies.  They will secure the electronic submission guidelines and assist with editing the proposal data in the electronic database.  They will assist with electronic funding opportunity searches for researchers and general webpage posting.

Qualifications

A master's degree is required.  Grant administration experience preferred.  This position requires a well-organized individual who can multi-task and who has excellent oral and written communication skills.  The successful candidate must possess extensive knowledge of various federal agency regulations, state regulations, OMB Circulars and other regulations important to university research administration.  He/she must be able to manage high volume and complex transactions.  They must possess the ability to quickly extract information and solve problems in a deadline driven environment. They must be able to work effectively in a team environment with researchers, administrators,. sponsors and co-workers.
