Description

The Director of Human Resources is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the Office of Human Resources, including personnel management, budget oversight, rules and regulations, acceptance and evaluation of employment applications, etc.  He/she will advise and assist campus administrators in planning and implementing employee orientation and personnel training programs to ensure that work related activities are performed in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.  The successful applicant will conduct workshops and seminars for University administrators and supervisory staff to disseminate information.  They will review, evaluate and recommend appropriate actions for employees based on supervisors' recommendations.  He/she will assist in the development of System personnel and related policies.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include at least 3-5 years experience in managing and directing a Human Resource Department for a multi-million dollar operation.  A Master's degree is preferred.  Applicants must be highly proficient and effective in written and oral communications and must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
